It's well know that the generation gap (quarrels, fights and so on) has always existed between children and their parents. But between grandparents and kids things have been always far more sweeter.

Mi amiga Mel me ha enviado una foto de cerca de su casa, en Newcastle (GB), para que viese la nueva manera de recaudar dineros en los municipios británicos. No es aunque pudiese parecerlo un caso de pintadas "stencil" de las multinacionales, sino que en este caso la BP (británica) parece (según me comenta Mel) que deja unos generosos ingresos en los municipios que acceden a realizar estas acciones.... No dejan ni un espacio libre de publicidad. Ahora resulta que el asfalto también será rentable para las arcas municipales...

My friend Mel has sent me this picture, taken near Newcastle (UK), to show me a new way Brithish city councils are getting extra money. This picture could look like a "stencil graffitti job" by BP company, but it's not the case... Mel tells me that it seems city councils are gettin generous amounts of money by promoting some brands.
It seems less and less space is remaining free of advertising. Now it seems roads are going to be profitable too our institutions.

OPAS ELECTORALES HOSTILES/ HOSTILE ELECTORAL TAKEOVER BID

El PSOE ha lanzado una OPA hostil contra los escaños del PP. Con este paso se espera que se haga con la casi totalidad de los escaños del parlamento.
El portavoz del PSOE ha comentado en una rueda de prensa que es fundamental contar con partidos fuertes, dada la gran competencia internacional, dominada por grandes grupos.
Gracias a esta nueva adquisición, el nuevo grupo resultante podría anunciar nuevas adquisiciones de pequeños grupos políticos en Europa, para aumentar su oferta y fortalecer su posición en el mercado electoral europeo.

PSOE spokesman said yerterday that bigger political parties are needed in today's world, due to international competition, with a big presence of large political groups worldwide.
